While in Rome, Thomas More College students stay at a majestic Roman villa—nestled at the top of Via delle Fornaci just a few steps from the ancient Via Aurelia Antica. Designed by Gaetano Minnucci, a notable Roman Architect, the villa’s beauty and charm is increased with it’s winding terraces, gardens and views. Stepping out of the gate, the students have, on one side, St. Peter’s Square a few paces down the street, and the other side, the Janiculum Hill, the most desirable part of the city, where ancient Rome opens before them.
